TouchStorm is looking for a digital design intern (either a recent college grad or a college senior) to work from our NYC office. The details are pasted below in case you know anyone that might be interested!

TouchStorm, a fast-growing digital media company on the forefront of editorial video production and distribution, is looking for a uniquely qualified individual to join the creative services team. The successful candidate will have a passion for digital design, great attention to detail, and a desire to learn more about the exciting world of digital media. Position will be a demanding internship with opportunity to learn, gain experience, and grow your skill set.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Create PSD files from wireframes
• Assist Art Director and Copywriter as needed with creation of materials to support video content
• Work with Creative Services Director to develop creative for presentations, social media programs, and online video
• Select and edit stock photography and brand photography for use in various digital projects
• Contribute to ideas/concepts for various creative projects

The ideal candidate:
• College senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Art Direction
• Or, a recent graduate (1-2 years) desiring industry experience and the potential for growth into a permanent position

Must have:
• Extremely strong Photoshop skills
• Understanding of basic UX best practices
• Extremely strong design skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and work within provided design templates and brand guidelines
• Sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Nice to have:
• Experience or interest in editorial video, digital media, and social media
